Print Loan Docs to PDF or TIFF
You don't always need a scanner to create document images. Instead you can use an electronic fax or print to PDF or TIFF. It's easy, and helps you save money.
Print to Tiff:
Documents can be printed to TIFF by following these simple steps:
1. Open the document that you would like to save as a TIFF.
2. Go to File >> Print.
3. Use the drop down arrow to select "Microsoft Office Document Image Writer" as your printer. 
4. Click the "Properties" button.
5. Select the "Advanced" tab.
6. Select "TIFF - Monochrome Fax".
7. Click OK.
Your system is now set up to print to TIFF.
8. Click OK
again.
9. A "Save As" window will open. Select where you would like the TIFF image to be saved and press the "Save" button. Your document will now save onto your computer in a TIFF format which can be uploaded into DirectWare®.
Print to PDF:
Printing to PDF is similar to printing to TIFF, but requires the use of additional software:
1. Download and install free PDF software such as the following: PrimoPDF, CutePDF, or doPDF. Alternatively, you can use Adobe Acrobat Professional (cost associated with purchase).
2. Open the document that you would like to save as a PDF.
3. Go to File >> Print.
4. Use the drop down arrow to select your PDF-creation program. It will show up as a printer option. For example, to print to PDF using Adobe Professional, the printer option is "Abobe PDF".

5. Click OK.
6. A "Save As" window will open. Select where you would like the PDF image to be saved and press the "Save" button. Your document will now save onto your computer in a PDF format which can be uploaded into DirectWare®.
